I am going to buy a transponder key for a ford mustang, but to program it myself I need 2 keys? or I can bring it to the dealer they will charge 100 dollars to program it. can I just bring the key to a locksmith and have it cut, then bring the key to the dealer and tell them its the original and it just stopped working (act dumb) or will they know I would be lying?
